The giggles…
I would say 8 out of 10 times that we do homework, at some point Miss Addi gets the giggles. Sometimes it is contagious, and sometimes I get so frustrated with her! BUT… it is better them complaining and whining, that is for sure.
Bad hair day
I would say Paige was having a bad hair day! The groomer left her so long last time. Didn’t stop her from getting tons of attention at football practice!
Coop and his 2 dates
Just Coop and I… I love the days I get to spend with him! Today it was the 2 of us and Jessica. He had two hot dates at Johnny Carinos. He didn’t get a word in, or eat a whole lot, or cover the bill, but he was the best date we could ask for!
Flip it… Flip it good
Bridger came running inside and said “Mom you have got to come watch me…” so I did just that. The little stink was doing awesome back flips on the tramp. He has been trying to muster up the courage to do them for about a month. He has no problem doing them into the foam pit, but the trampoline made him a little nervous. I know the pictures are blurry, but I think they are awesome anyway!!!

A Special Day {Bridger gets Baptized}
Today was a very special day. My heart is so full.
We left Rigby around 7:15 this morning excited for Bridger’s special day. We were praying that the rain would stay away, and we would be able to have a wonderful morning. When we got to the top of the Jackson Pass, it was ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!! The sun was shinning, the clouds were incredible, making a perfect blanket . The picture just doesn’t do it justice at all. When Oakleigh got there she said “Guess what? We drove through the clouds” it was adorable.
When you got into Teton Village, there was a pretty dark cloud over our heads, but, thankfully it never rained. It ended up being absolutely perfect! Not too cold, not too hot, and no rain! Sigh of relief…
After many conversations, Bridger decided to get baptized in this incredible creek at Grandpa and Grandma’s house in Teton Village. It was the perfect location for us. We couldn’t have asked for anything more beautiful and near to our Heavenly Father.
I just loved the way Jas and Bridge looked in these little white suits. I love what it symbolizes. I love that Jason is the special person that was able to baptize Bridge. It is just so special to me. Especially right now in my life. Thankful just doesn't cover the gratitude in my heart for this special moment with two of the most important men in my life!
Here is the program for the morning:
I am thankful for the people who helped participate in this special day! They made it so memorable.
Heidi gave the sweetest little talk on the Holy Ghost to Bridger. She has given this talk a lot. We love her for it! It is just perfect.
I would like to give you this little bag to help you understand how important the Holy Ghost is in your life.
The white sack signifies how pure and clean you are now that you have been baptized.
Inside the sack is a little red mouth that will help you remember that the Holy Ghost will speak to you in a still small voice.
The ears are to remind you that you can always choose the right if you will learn to listen to the Holy Ghost.
The book is to help you remember that the Holy Ghost is a teacher and to study the scriptures and listen to your teachers and parents. The Holy Ghost will help you to understand and know the truth.
The Holy Ghost is like a candle that lights the way for you and help you walk along with faith in a righteous path.
The Holy Ghost is like a warm blanket who comforts you when you have chosen the right and your friends are choosing the wrong and you have to stand alone.
The Holy Ghost will strengthen and comfort you always.
Heidi also read this poem. I think it is absolutely perfect.
It seemed it never would come,
You just couldn’t wait
You were six
Then you were seven
And finally eight.
The Bishop- he called
How nervous you were
You promised your parents
I won’t make a stir!
Do you know what it means
The Bishop did ask
To be baptized and confirmed
A member at last?
Of course- I do know
I’ve been taught oh so well
By my parents and teachers
You bet I will tell
I will keep God’s commandments
And act in his name
But just in case I may slip
I will take all the blame
I’ll repent and I hope
From my mistakes
I will grow
So all blessings from heaven
Can to me still flow
I’ll be given a gift
That will whisper to me
And instead of two friends
I now will have three!
And when I am grown
And look back o’er my past
My most fondest of memories
I’m a member at last!
3 Nephi 11:37 “And again I say unto you, ye must repent, and become as a little child, and be baptized in my name.”
Just moments after he was baptized. What an incredible moment. It is a moment I never want to forget. I pray the Bridger will always look back and remember the specialness of this exact moment in his life.
Meet the newest member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
What an incredible young man he is!
So thankful for the example he set for Addisyn and Cooper today. He is seriously the best big brother a mother could ask for.
So in love with these four. So thankful to be the mom of these three great kids, and to the wife to this man. I love him so much! So thankful for them today.
Bridger had so much support today:
Grandpa Gary & Grandma Lori, Grandpa Kenny & Grandma Jonna, Holly and girls, Bryce & Brittany and kids, Stacey & Chant and kids, Blake & Shannon and girls, Brian & Danielle and kids, Aunt Heidi, Great Grandma Kaye, Aunt Debie, Christopher, Jaren and Sarah and Hannah, Braiden and Kandace, Kirk & Fawn and kids.
Unfortunately I didn’t get pictures with everyone. That will be a regret. My head just wasn’t in the right place I guess. Gosh… Here are the few that I did get. So grateful for all the support!!!
I made Bridger this remembrance book, and I am so glad that I did!!! I had everyone write a letter to Bridger, and I pray they are as special to him in the years to come, as they were to me today. They all pulled at my heartstrings.
What an amazing day! I am so thankful for Bridger. He is one amazing kid. I love him so much, and don’t know what I would do without him!!!

2nd and 1st
I was pretty excited for school to start this year. Aughh… is that so bad of me! If it is I don’t care. The summer had come to an end. It was time for these amazing kids of mine to have something to do. It was time to get back into a routine.
Bridger started 2nd grade, and Miss Addi started 1st grade. Her first year going all day!
Bridger was a little anxious like he usually is, but Mrs. Bidwell his teachers just seams incredible. I think she will be good for him this year. She was full of enthusiasm and excitement!!! And, of course he was all decked out in ORANGE!
Little Miss Addi’s teachers is names Mrs. Sarminento. She seems so excited about teaching. Addi is doing something very different this year. It is called the Language Immersion Spanish program. She will start to learn Spanish. It seems like a great program. I am excited about it, but very nervous for her. 1/2 her day her teacher will ONLY speak in Spanish. There will be no English communication while she is wearing her magic scarf. Gradually over time she will start to pick up bits and pieces of the language. AUGHHHH…. makes me nervous for her. BUT, when she graduates high school, she will have a college minor in Spanish! I just pray that she excels in school this year, and doesn’t get to overwhelmed!!!!!
GOOD LUCK THIS YEAR!!! Mom sure loves you both so much, and am so proud of the young people you are becoming!

Back to {SCHOOL NIGHT}
I have felt so discombobulated this year. The kids are starting a new school, Jefferson Elementary, and with all the changes that are going on in Jefferson County, I think everyone has felt that way.
Addi is doing the Language Immersion program, and me being dumb, just assumed that there would only be one class for that, well there weren’t, and my worst fear for school had come true… Miss Ella and Addi weren’t in the same class. After a meeting about the program both Abby and I talked to the principal, but it didn’t seem very hopeful. BUT, we were so excited to find out that Addi had been moved into Ella’s class. I just think with how crazy this year will be, that they need each other!!!!!
Here is Addi meeting Senorita Sarminento. She seems like such a sweet teacher. Just perfect for the girls.
Addi and Ella… They are at different tables so they can’t chit chat, but sitting right next to each other, so they have the comfort of being together! I just thought it was perfect, and made me excited for them.
I have said more prayers that started with “Please let Bridger get a good teacher this year, someone that connects with him, and encourages him to love learning, reading, and being at school"… and, I think my prayers have been answered.
Mrs. Bidwell just seems incredible. She seems excited for the year. Here they are nervous for a new year to start! She just seems so cute. PHEWWWW….
I will continue to pray that it is a good year for both of these little ones of mine. Gosh they are growing up so fast. Makes my heart sad, but excited at the same time. It is a CONSTANT battle for reading with them, so I just pray that they learn to love it, and I can be patient while they try.
Here is to another year!!!!
