Me too...

I am going to go private... and don't want to lose anyone that visits often. Please leave your email addresses if you want to be added. I think it is time, and if Chant is going to do it with as active as she is with blogging, I guess it is for the best! I know that people visit often and don't comment, so please leave your email if you want me to add you!

Not so yummy...

So I am running out of things to make Bridger for lunch that he will eat! I thought I would make something that I have not made for a little while... a childhood favorite! A slice of bread with Kraft Singles- broiled... seems pretty simple right! Well leave it to me to goof it up. I got preoccupied with taking pictures of the huge snowflakes we were having, and totally forgot about lunch! I couldn't believe what the cheese did, so I thought I would share my mistake. Don't think I will be posting this recipe on Bon Appetite!

Something new...

So last night Jason watched the kids and I got my hair done. I love getting my hair cut!!! It gives me a new energy...I don't know how to explain it. I decided to do something different, so I cut it off- a cute a-line bob! I also had Katie do a color on me, and I like it! It has some red in it, and blond streaks!!! When I got home the first thing that Jason said is "Why did you bob your hair?" So he doesn't care for it much, but I like it so I guess he will just have to learn to love it, and love me anyway. It is always nice to have a change...if it has been awhile for you I recommend it!

Easter 2008'

Thought I would share a couple pictures of Easter! My 2 kids are spoiled rotten!!! For Christmas Bridger got a little motorbike, so we thought we would supply him with a helmet and goggles (my hat and my eyes...he always says)! We ran into Action on Saturday to get a $20 part Jason had ordered and walked out with $60 in riding gear for Bridger because we couldn't resist...it is just too cute (thanks mom and dad!!!) ! Addi always seems to get ripped off... but what do you put in an 8month olds Easter basket, so she got teddy grahams and a few shirts, but was very content to just play with the grass in the basket! She did get a very pretty Easter dress that she will also wear at Dani's wedding!!! I am glad that everyones Easter was wonderful!!!

Couldn't resist... isn't she cute!

I just had to share these cute pictures of Addisyn.

I was playing with her hair because the top of it is so long and strait that she looks like an orphan if I don't do it, so I was putting ringlets in it and it just turned out so cute! I even think she felt adorable because she was so happy I was able to capture these cute pictures!!!

Trusting a 2 year old...

So we are staying over in Teton Village with Jasons sister while his parents on on vacation...this entails getting Makayla up for the day, taking her to the bus stop, picking Makayla up from play practice, and doing the ranch chores- horses, and plowing if it snows! Very easy and relaxing...Jason has been working in Thayne, so it makes for a very long day leaving at 5:45am, then going to a friends house in Victor to do some electrical for a few days...so he has been getting home at 9:00pm! YUCK!!!

Okay so Bridge has feed the horses with Grandpa Gary and dad a few times, so all afternoon he says "Horse Hungy," so after about 2 hours of telling him that the horses aren't hungry yet, I bundled up the kids and we feed the horses. It isn't much...2 bails of hay twice a day, then loading the Rhino back up!!! ...Okay, so the kids are bundled in there snow clothes...we head to the barn-the whole time I am thinking I am crazy, I have feed before, but not with both kids. Bridger starts the rhino, and we head to the horses...I step off with Addi open the gate and drive! I couldn't push the bails off while I was holding Addi, so I asked Bridge to hold her, and he very willingly did. Anyway, I had to climb into the loft of the barn to throw down some hay for the next day...what should I do with Addi??? I can't exactly climb with her, and don't want to just have her sit in the snow...AUGGGGG So I asked Bridger to hold her tight... He was so cute! The first time PERFECT, she sat there it was great! The next day, well that was a little different story...Addi was very tired, so I was in the loft and Bridge yells "Addi," she had wiggled herself out of his arms, and was hanging off the seat (there is a floor in the rhino) Bridge with all his might was holding onto the sleeve of her snow suit!!! So I hurried down the stairs picked her up and said try again Bridger. {NOTE: I had not thrown down a single bail yet} I no more got half way up the stairs (20sec) and Bridge says "AUGG ADDI," so back down I went...(keep in mind I am doing this to help Jas out)!!! Bridge mommy will hurry okay, can you hold her..."Yeah" so I make it to the loft this time, through down 1 bail, and Addi is off the seat, off the floor and is hanging to the ground!!! DOWN one more time in a hurry... NEEDLESS to say she ended up just sitting on the snow, and I got a halfhearted Thanks from Jas!!!

The whole reason I tell this, is because I was so proud of my 2year old, for being so grown up when needed. It might seem like such a little thing, but to see him taking such good care (or trying to) of Addi was priceless. (SORRY for the long story...for that)

Just don't want to forget...

I have always loved the show "Kids say the darnedest thing" by Bill Cosby, so I though I would journal some of the fun things Bridge says right now:
  • "Race Mommy" When we are in the car, one of the first things that he says is "Race Mommy!" I don't know where he got it, but I think that it is so funny. He loves to hear the sound of the engine when you revv it up! Any bets he has his first speeding ticket at 15 years old...
  • "Mommy Go" Can you say road rage in training... when we are at a stop sign, or a red light he gets so frustrated and says "Mommy Go," or "Go Mommy." The first time he did it-I just sat there jaw to the ground thinking..."oh my goodness we are in so much trouble!"
  • "Nose, NO NO" About 6 months ago we were having a bowl of popcorn as a family...something we do quite often, and he stuck a popcorn kernel up his nose. Jas and I tried for about an hour to get the kernel out of his nose...with no prevail. We ended up in the emergency room with him. They stuck a little infant catheter up his nose behind the kernel, the blew the balloon up and pulled the kernel out!!! NOT A FUN EXPERIENCE!!! Bridge and I were both crying, just looking at him- the pain in his eyes was so sad! Needless to say whenever we eat a bowl of popcorn he says "Nose, NO NO"! I just have to add that when we watch "Even Almighty" the opening menu has him shaving his nostrils, and he always says it then too...it is just tooo funny!
  • "Pee Outside" This is his new thing...whenever he has to go to the bathroom he want to go outside! When we would go to IF or wherever, when he had to go I just pulled over and let him pee on the side of the road! So now...that is exactly where he wants to go! Just the other day I was doing dishes, and he came into the kitchen and said "Pee Mommy," so I went to the bathroom to clean up any dribbles, and to my surprise nothing!!! I asked him if he needed to go, and he said "no, I pee mommy!" So I asked him where, he casually went to the front door and opened it...right there on the front porch was were he decided to go to the bathroom!!! ALL BOY I tell ya, ALL BOY!!!
  • "Oh, Yeah" This one might not seem so cute, but when you hear it...it will make you laugh. When he asks me a question and I give him the answer he said "Oh, Yeah!" For example...he asked me if we could go outside and play..."I wanna ride that" he always says, and I told him that we couldn't because Addi was sleeping, so we would have to wait until she woke up. "Oh, Yeah" he says...
  • So we have taught Bridge what a bunch of animals say, like all us parents do...well when you ask him to say cow for instance... it is a "moo," for dog he does a panting sound...I asked him to say Brandi the other day, and he said "mommy" and Jason was "daddy!" So this is a sentence he would say,"I wanna rope the moo!" Another example I posted about a while back, but when he said "I don't wanna bock bock" for dinner!
  • "I don't wanna..." this one is not so cute! "I don't wanna" go night night..."I don't wanna" clean up my toys..."I don't wanna" eat..."I don't wanna" take a bath... the list goes on and on and on!!!
  • "I want Barney" He loves him...I know a lot of parents (including Jason) don't like Barney. I for one actually think he teach a lot!!! He loves him!
  • "I wanna ride that..." from a tractor, to a motorbike, to a snow machine, to a horse...if it has legs, or wheels he wants to ride! Anyone want to make a bet as to how long before he breaks a bone!!!
  • "I call Josh" he calls his uncle Josh about 10 times a day to ask him to go biking...it is very funny! He is way into it...holding the phone on his shoulder and still playing with his truck...it makes you happy!!! I love seeing their imagination at work!

Bridge, you are so much fun to had around. You never cease to amaze me with what you come up with. You are a fun and funny little boy...I am very excited for the years to come!

Addi isn't talking, but sure can say a lot!!! She is so sassy...When she doesn't get her way she screams... and It comes from the top of her lungs!!! She isn't very patient, but is quite content! She loves to eat her food, and is gradually not wanting her bottle...I can't remember the last time she actually ate all 6oz. auggg (thanks Dani for saving me on my grocery bill)!!! She is already quite the 2 year old... you know in all the bad ways!!! She is going to give me a run for my money, I tell ya! She has a lot of determination...if she wants something she will get it! It is sad when she works so hard to get to a toy she sees, and Bridge so easily swoops down and takes it!!! Hang in there Addi...one of these days you can hold him down and paint is toenails or something! I love you so much, and pray that we had a mother-daughter bond that is inseparable. I love watching your personality evolve every day. You are our little angel, or devil...depending on the day! If only you would sleep...

If only I could go every day...

“I wish to say to everyone here, come to the temple. Live worthy to come to the temple. Live the commandments of God so that you may come to the temple. Do those things which will make you eligible to serve in the house of the Lord. It has been built for you, my brothers and sisters, that you might have the opportunity of coming here and receiving the wonderful blessings that can be had nowhere else in all the world, except in other temples, where you may be sealed together as husband and wife, where your children may be sealed to you, where you may work in behalf of your forebears, who have gone beyond. That great and marvelous and wonderfully unselfish work occurs in the house of the Lord. Come to the temple” -Gordon B. Hinckley

My sister Shannon and I, and her sister in law Mandy had the wonderful opportunity to attend the temple on Friday. I am very grateful for my mom and dad who watched Bridger and Addisyn for me. It was as always a great experience. I had set a goal to try to attend every month, although I missed January I intend to attend every other month in 2008. What an amazing experience it was to share with Shannon. I am so blessed to have a family that I can share such a divine experience. I just want to thank Shannon for not letting the fear of attending get the best of her. I am so proud of the person that she is. I love her so much and appreciate her ever growing example. She is an amazing person of strength and love. I have to share a little experience- which may not correlate at all, but I would like to say that it did. One of Jason’s family members has been very sick with the very thing that killed her dad. She has been going through a number of tests and surgery to see if the cancer has spread. I put her name on the prayer list and a couple days later Jas’s mom told me that the tests came up negative. I won’t go any further into the details, but I think the Lord can work in amazing ways. I am so honored to attend such a sacred place and be so close to the Lord there.

{Tag} 8 things about Addi...

ONE: Addi is trying very hard to crawl. She is very strong and will get up one her hands and knees then pop he little bum way up into the air!
TWO: At 8 months old she still has no teeth…they say the longer they go without them the better!!!
THREE: Will only smile when she wants too. She is a very happy girl, but I think also very stubborn. She loves to smile, but sometimes it is very hard to get a smile out of her.
FOUR: Had a heart murmur when she was born. At only hours old she had to have a EKG. She has since grown out of it-THANK GOODNESS!!!
FIVE: She loves to eat her baby food. I can’t pinpoint any favorites because she has never turned one down. If she is a little curious she pulls a very sour and strange face, but then always seems to eat up!
SIX: Takes after her big brother on the sleeping through the night thing! I know, I know… I have tried letting her scream, and honestly it makes it so much worse!
SEVEN: Is very ticklish on her collar bones!!! She will pull her chubby neck all the way down to her shoulders and just laugh! It is so cute.
EIGHT: Looked almost exactly like her mom when she was born. Bridger looked just like Jason everyone said, so it mad mom very happy to have her little girl resemble her mom. When she is mad the Park features really come out in her chubby face, but for the most part she looks a lot like her mom.

"Tag" your kids are it...

ONE: He absolutely loves to be on the motorbike or 4 wheeler. You will never catch him unhappy or not smiling when he is on it, unless he has to get off of course. Grandma and Grandpa Warnke got the boys a battery powered 4wheeler the Christmas before last, and he has all but wore it out. He loves it so much!
TWO: Bridge will ride a horse all by himself (As well as a 2year old can)!!! He can hold the reins and direct the horse where to go! He loves everything about it. He always ask Grandpa Gary if he can ride…
THREE: FEARLESS… Bridge has no fear what so ever! He is very daring and is always trying to push his limits.
FOUR: He doesn’t eat…I don’t know how he stays alive. He lives on milk still I guess!!! I have tried to bribe and yell and offer no other options… this kid just does not eat!!! Any suggestions???
FIVE: He can cast a fishing pole just as good as mom! He loves to pretend he is fishing around the house. It didn’t take him long to figure it out! He has “worn out” 2 fishing poles already in his 2 years of life!
SIX: He love- love- loves- to be around his daddy! We always laugh that Jason has an extra shadow!
SEVEN: Still at 2 1/2years old RARELY sleeps through the night! He loves to hold stuff between his fingers when he is trying to go to sleep, a blanket, Addi's hair, anything!!!
EIGHT: He shares a family name: Lee- many of the Park family have this in there name in one form or another.
There are so many interesting things about Bridger. He is fun loving and caring. He pushes his limits everyday in one way or another. These 8 are just a few of what makes him so much fun to have around.

Addisyn to come...
TAG YOUR IT!

"...and daddy?"

A little journal entry...
The other night (before Jason was home) the kids and I were saying our prayers before I put Addi down for bed. I say a cute little kiddish prayer and most of the time Bridge will mutter whatever it is he says back. I was thanking Heavenly Father for our many blessings and asking him to watch over our family members we are not with, and he ever so sweetly put his hand on my arm and interrupted me and said "...and daddy?" Instantly my eyes filled with tears, and as one escaped down my cheek he goes "UGH dammie(which is how he said dang it...I promise) and took his little hand and gently wiped away my tear. It caused an overflow of emotion, maybe from the lack of sleep- I don't know, but those little moments are what get a mother through the day. I am so grateful for my two kids. The are the best gift from God. What an honor it is to know that he trusted me with them. I Love you Bridge and Addi so much...you and your dad are my world.
