One of the BOYS...

If Bridger is playing with a tractor...Addi is playing with a tractor. If Bridger is wearing a hat...Addi is wearing a hat. If Bridger wants to ride his bike...Addi wants to ride her bike. So it would only be natural if Bridger is shooting his gun...Addi wants to shoot her gun! Daddy was doing some cleaning of one of his guns the other night which ALWAYS leads to something like this...
...I know she is so cute HUH??? That naked fat belly, the green farmer cap...and her pink 22. Doesn't she just make the cutest little princess ever! Who am I kidding...she is just a boy in pink clothing some days! She will be one tough cookie though I think! I would rather her be full of spunk and personality mixed with a touch of prissiness. She LOVE LOVE LOVES to be right in the middle of all the action with the boys. Her daddy eats it up. It will be fun to watch her grow up and see what she really likes to be around. I think she will keep Bridger on his toes though. I am glad though that she still gets excited when I want to paint her little fingers and toes...there is a little Girl under that farmers cap somewhere!

"Monkey has to..."

Bridger has been my best friend lately. He is so much fun and always says the cutest things. He is so sweet but full of determination. Last night when they were racing to bed Jason held him and let Addi "Win" and he broke down in tears-real crocodile-heartbroken tears..."I don't like to loose." He is always saying something that surprises me-like tonight: I couldn't find the ONE SIPPY CUP Addi will drink milk out of...and I new it was down stairs somewhere, but couldn't for the life of me find it! "Think-Think-Think..it has to be here somewhere. Think-Think-Think." I thought it was so cute! This though has been one of my favorites over the last month... Bridger is iffy with his naps right now. It seems like there is a window and if I don't catch it just right I am out of luck! This particular day was a fight with both of them. It took Addi about 30 minuets to call down and fall to sleep. Bridger knows that when Addi is asleep if he hasn't been able to fall to sleep I usually let him stay up. Well, I really needed him to take a nap because he has been sick and sleep deprived from some busy weekends-so I was pretty persistent. He just keep coming to me and saying "I need a kiss" or "I want a hug" or "I need a drink" or "I need to go to the bathroom" then it was "Monkey needs a kiss" Monkey wants a hug" Monkey needs a drink" then "Monkey needs to go to the bathroom." I was really trying to not get upset with him, because I never want to destroy an imagination-time does that naturally I think...so I said that is it...then you have to go to bed. I grabbed my camera and I am glad that I did...

Picture #1: He used Monkeys hand an opened the toilet and set him on the seat.

Picture #2: Made him sit there until her was completely done.

Picture #3: Helping him get off the toilet.

Picture #4: Walking him to the toilet paper and helping him grab a few squares and wipe his furry little bum.

Picture #5: Putting toilet paper in the toilet and helping him close the lid.

I stopped it when he wanted to wash Monkeys hands!!! It was so cute...I gave up on nap time after that! We played Candy Land instead!!!

Strutting her stuff...

Addi should have been named ATTITUDE because she has SO much of it! She is sassy, determined, stubborn, independent, energetic...and the list goes on and on! I wouldn't change her little personality for anything, but she does push my buttons some days! I was folding laundry the other evening, Jason was getting the kids ready for a bath-Addi saw these little Lightning McQueen underwear of Bridger's and she refused to get into the bath tub until she could strut her stuff with this underwear on! FINALLY after she fussed for 5 min struggling to get them on I helped her. She turned around and stuck her cute little butt out and poked her tongue out and squatted with all sorts of attitude...all I could do was LAUGH!!! She is so much fun...and keeps me continually on my toes!

Sugar Cookie-anyone???

Back in March I had the opportunity to watch my little niece Brilyn and my nephew Teegan. We had great fun and I always love spending time with them. I decided that we would go on a HUGE adventure and make SUGAR COOKIES (with 3 kids under 3-Addi was taking a nap... until it was time to eat). Around Valentines day Bridger made some with my mom and hasn't stopped talking about it since then, so I thought it would be fun for them. We really did have a blast! Everyone was covered from head to toe in flour by the time we were finished. I could have baked a cake with what ended up on my kitchen floor. It was really fun though, I LOVE watching their eyes light up when they are free to do whatever they want (there are always limits though). After we had made a few cookies I divided the remaining dough and they got to roll it and use the cookie cutters all by themselves. They were so proud of their creations! I love cooking with kids...although, it is ALWAYS an adventure, but so rewarding!!!
