He got them on though, just a little mixed up!!! Still learning I guess...
Don't they look comfortable like that!!!
The hat is way to big, and it will take a few years to grow into the gloves, but everyday I see more and more of Jason in Bridge. It is intriguing to watch Bridge watch Jason's every move. Bridge loves to be wherever his daddy is, doing whatever he is doing. I have to admit that on several occasions it has shocked us what he will pick up on! I am loving so much to watch Bridge become himself. I can see so much of Jas and I in him. The little things he says, and the actions he does...it is just so fun to watch them grow.
Addi has been a little monkey-climbing on furniture for awhile, but over the last week she has become a little braver, and will walk with her walker. She thinks she is so BIG when she gets to stroll through the house. It is so funny when she gets to the end of a hall, or finds a roadblock...she gets furious!!! Bridge gets pretty excited for her "Mommy look Lil' Lady." If she gets stuck he will usually help her turn around! It is really pretty cute. Someday soon I think this little girl will Move Mountains she has so much determination!!!
When I got home from Weight Watchers last night Jason wanted to go fishing at a little pond a couple of miles from our house, so we loaded up and left!!! It was so fun being there as a family. Jason is such a great dad! He was so patient with Bridger when he would reel in backwards and knot up his line. I think Jason had to take it apart and untangle it 5-6 times in the hour that we were there. Bridger did a great job. Luck was on his side tonight...he caught 4 fish (almost) ALL BY HIMSELF! He was so excited when the fish would start flippin' and floppin' by the bank. If Jason would crouch down, Bridge would find a way to crouch down next to him. It was so cute to watch him look up to Jason, and try to be just like his daddy. Addi loved to just be outside. I think that every rock in reaching distance ended up in her mouth. YUCK! She was so happy and content just watching her big brother and dad fish. She didn't know quite what to think about the slimy things. Unfortunately, the 1st fish that Bridge caught swallowed the line. We new that he would not make it, so we ended up bringing him home. It was pretty hilarious, when Jas was gutting the fish, Bridge did great with the cutting, but when Jas actually pulled everything out, Bridge looked at Jas with this disgusted look and back up as far away as he could. We all got a pretty good laugh from that one! But now the fish resides in our freezer. He hasn't been forgotten though...I have had to pull him out of the freezer 3 times today! He is very proud.

I think that every parent has those days when they get a glace of there children in a different light. Today I had one with Addi. She was looking so grown up and big today it made me really sad. Not that I am not way excited for the days to come with her, but because pretty soon she will turn one and become my little toddler...not my little baby!!! I am so grateful for what she brings to our home. She is so many big blessing all wrapped in one little package. You know nothing can prepare us for motherhood, and I think that is what makes it so much fun. Everyday is different-we might accomplish exactly the same thing as we did yesterday, following the exact same footsteps...but, there is always that ONE thing that makes today worth it, that ONE thing that pulls at your heartstrings and reminds you why you longed to be a mother!
I know you are probably getting so sick of 4-wheeler, motorbike pictures, but here is another (and I will be honest-there will probably be more).
What is a mother to do when her two year old has so many passions? I love to watch Bridge have excitement for life. To watch a two year old learn and grow and develop into this exciting little guy is so much fun, but what am I going to do? This kid loves everything he can get involved in. He is just like his daddy...stubborn, gentle, hard headed, caring, loving, enthusiastic...any word you can find I am sure he has a little of it in him. It is amazing to see the wheels in his head turning when his imagination comes to life. He is so full of energy and excitement...It makes me jealous. On a daily basis I hear: "I wanna ride that," "I wanna rope." "my hat, by rope, my boops(boots) my dodge," "wanna race," "fight daddy," at least a million times. I love it! Bridge thanks for teaching me to love today. You make it so much fun to live it!!!
Poor little Addi has been trying to get her top two teeth. I can see them, but they just haven't broke through yet. We have had some sleepless night the last few nights. She wakes up just crying like every 45mins. with exception of maybe one 2hour stretch each night. I hate seeing them in pain, and not being able to comfort them at all. She is so tired, and grumpy-which results in the same for me. I am trying really hard to be patient with her, for I have a few friends that can't be with there children right now...for different reasons! So Brandi-be thankful for the good and the bad moments that you have your children in your arms. You never know what life will through at you-bedrest in a hospital, or testing in a different state...you need take the good and the bad, and make the most of everyday!

Dignified and hard working. With a gentle and soft-spoken manner you have something many people don't. Patience. Even through the moments of heartbreak you're still able to hold onto all of your hopes and dreams. Bide your time; your dream will come true.
