All about Jason!!!

I don't have any pictures of him over here in Jackson, so I will have to add it later!!!
I'M SORRY MY SPELL CHECK WON'T WORK, AND I DON't HAVE TIME TO PROOF READ!

What is his name
: Jason Lee
How long have you been married: Going on 8 years in June!
How did you meet: ( I am adding my own questions!) Jason and I had been going to the same school for years, but I am sad to admitt that I didn't know him. We were pretty different as far as friends and... well everything! I was pretty quiet, and a good student. Never ended up in the principales office my whole school experience. Jason on the other
hand had a seat with his name on it!!! Bob Boice became one of his "Best Friend," always very excited to see him, I'm sure! Anyway, one year we ended up working for Websters during Spud Harvest. He drove truck, and I worked on the belt. We were hanging out waiting for another truck, and he was emptying his... and he said the F word, and I threw a potatoe at him and said "Don't say that in front of me." Well, I guess being me didn't scare him off, he liked something in me, because he asked me out!
How long did you date: We dated off and on for years. I drug poor Jason through the ringer!!! We were high school sweethearts for a little while, with many ups and downs. I started dateing another guy my senior year, and into college. Jason was never completely out of the picture though. He needed to straighten up alittle more, I really wanted to get married in the temple, and at the time that was not one of his goals. We started dating again while I was in college! We were driving around Rexburg one night, and he told me I had to decide if I wanted him or not, he wasn't going to play my game any more(to me it was not a game)!!! That was it, it was him for eternity.
How old is he: 28
How old are you: 27
Who eats more sweets:We are both horrible, but with different types of sweets. Jason would rather have gummies, or sweet tarts, or something of that nature. I am chocolate all the way!!!
Who said I love you first: Jason did! I was babysitting with Chant (I think), and him and Jory stopped by to say Hello! We were fighting about something, and he told me he loved me, and would do anything for me! Needless to say the fight was pretty much over. I loved him so much, and hope that love continues to grow!
Who is taller: He is 5'10'', and I am 5'4'' on a good day.
Who can sing better: That would be me! Singing is one of my favorite things to do! I love to sing with my sisters, with my mom playing the piano... it always puts me in a good place. Jason can sing really well when he isn't making fun of the song, or changeing the words!!! I rarely get to hear his great voice.
Who is smarter: I think both of us have something different to bring to our family. Jason is very smart in things that I am completely stupid in, and visa versa! I think that makes us a great combination.
Who does the laundry: Jason's contribution to the laundry is make lot of it! One of my pet peaves is that he will fold over the tops of his socks then put them in the pile... it drives me nuts! It can make a good day bad... how dumb is that (on my part) I just don't understand why waste the time to do that! UHH
Who does the dishes: Once in a blue moon, I will get some help from Jason, but this is maily my job.
Who pays the bills: I physically write the bills out, but this is where Jason is the most importnat. I could not send those bills out without him... Thanks so much for working so hard to provide for us!
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed: I do... it wasn't always that way! When I got pregnant with Bridger, you are told to sleep on your left side... so I could still cuddle with him at night we traded sides. I love to lay on his chest to go to sleep. It wasn't always easy with a big belly, but we made it work!
Who mowes the lawn: We both do, this is not "assigned" to one or the other. If I can get to it while he is at work I do... I think it is great exersice pushing the lawnmower, so I try and do it... not always easy with the kids.
Besides you, who is his best friend: I would have to say Bridger. Lately he has been "training" him. He will ask "Who is your Best Friend?" Bridger will answer "Daddy." There were a few times when he would say "Grandpa," so Jason taught him that he is his Best Friend, and Grandpa is his Buddy! It works I guess. Jas can't wait for him to be a little older. This Best Friendship will only grow more and more the odler he get(atleast while dad is still cool)!
Who cooks dinner: I always try and have dinner ready for him when he gets home from work. I get this from my moms wonderful example! He doesn't always get to eat it hot, but usually there is a home cooked meal waiting for him.
Who Drives: Jason drives... the very few times that I have driven when he is not asleep it always ends in a disagreement!!! So I try not to drive unless he will guaranee that he is going to sleep!!!
Who is more stubborn: This one is hard... we are both stubborn in different ways. I have the Warnke stubborn bone, and Jason has the Park stubborn body!!! This can cause quite conflit on days... but we always end up making it work (usually after a long fight).
Who kissed who first: Jason kissed me first. We had been on a few dates, and we were at his house on a saturday watching "Liar, Liar." It was the cutest thing. He leaned over and gave me half a kiss ( half on my lips, and half on my cheek), then looked at me with this little grin that he does then gave me a great 1st kiss. He has always been a really good kisser, and I have enjoyed kissing him sence then!
Who asked who out first: Jason asked me out, or I guess I should say he asked me if I wanted to go "Hang out sometime."
What was your first Date: Jason picked me up in the Toyota with "Alabama" playing in the CD player ( We fight about this one he says it was ACDC) then we went to pick up Jory and Audra and went and had some nasty pizza. Then we went back to Jorys and watched "Sleepless in Seattle." It was a lot of fun. I remember the butterflies did not go away all night. I don't know what it was about him that made me week in the knees... but I get to spend the rest of forever figuring that out!
Who Proposed:Jason asked me! It was so funny... On February 12th 2000 Danielle and I were makeing a photo collage for Valentines day for him at my appartment. For some reason he couldn't get a hold of me and started to panic. He came over to the apartment, and when he saw me threw his arms around me and asked if I was okay... I said "Yes" puzzled at the question! He asked me to go for a ride with him, and so I told Dani we would be right back. He drove over to Smith Park (the same park he told me I had to decide what I wanted) and me walked thru the snow to the play ground... he was so nervouse I could tell something was up. He started to tell me how much he loved me, and how he wanted to make me happy forever... got down on his knee and flashed a beautiful ring, and said "Will you marry me." I got a little chocked up, then teased him that he couldn't wait 2 more days till Valentines Day... it has always been a joke since then!
Who has more siblings: Jason does- he has 1 brother, and 3 sisters. I have 3 sisters.
Who wears the pants: Like others have said- we both do. Different situations call for different pants!
What do I love about him: Jason, you are my best friend. This has been a lot of fun for me to do. I hope that you read it and enjoy it. I love you so much, and am so appreciative of what you do for our family. Thanks for working hard, and saving time to play with us. You are an excellent dad and husband. I won't say that we are perfect, but we try to make the day better for each other. I am so glad that you are my eternal companion, and that you have stuck with me thru it all. You are a great man and I am very proud of you and what you have become. Thanks for everything ( I don't want to get to mushy) you do! We Love You so much! Branders, Bridge, and Addi

Hello from Wyoming...

I just wanted to let everyone know that this week we are house sitting over in Teton Village, WY! We do it quite often, but with the 2 kids it makes it a little more difficult. It gets really boring, and my only salvation is that Jasons parents live less then a mile away! At least she left her computer this time. Last time we were here for 5 weeks, and she took her computer to Kentucky with her! The number over here is (307)733-5133 if anyone needs me for any reason!

A night of music, wranglers, and no kids!

Last night Jason and I got to do a rare thing… Go on a date. We headed down to Idaho Falls, dropped the kids off at Grandpa & Grandma Warnke’s and headed downtown to the Civic Auditorium for a night of “cowboys,” wranglers and music! It was great fun! Charlie Jenkins was the opening act. He graduated from BYU Idaho and had a great happiness about him. I really enjoyed his music, and entertainment. He sang a great song about duck tape and bailing wire, and how it can fix anything. I thought it was Hilarious!!! One of his band members is from Rexburg, Dillon Finn(sp), and he sang a great song that he wrote about how great it is to come home. I really liked the song. I am kinda a sucker for slow songs, a hopeless romantic of sorts. Then with much anticipation, and I must say a long intermissions….. Jason Aldean! Ever since “Why” and “Hick Town” became number one hits, I have really loved his voice. He was a lot of fun I thought. He had a lot of enthusiasm on the stage. He sang quite a bit of songs off of his new album, and the #1 hits off of the old. It was really good! He has a great voice, and I loved to hear it in person. I have always loved music it makes me feel really good. The only thing that could have made the night better is if I could have shared it a little more with my sisters and friend that were there as well!!! They were a couple rows behind us, and I didn’t get to be a part of there night… sure did miss you guys, but was glad that you were there!

A trip to the Doctor

On our way to the Doctor, if she only knew what was coming, she wouldn't look so dang cute!
She loved to crinkle the paper! She was having so much fun exploring all the new sounds! I almost wish they would go there already mad, so you didn't have to change there spirits so dramatically.
Ouch! Poor thing, she was a real trooper! Only a few tears were shed. I am so proud of our little "Fatty Addi." It still pulls at my heartstrings when they get there shots, but I know that it is an essential part of growing up, and I wouldn't do it any other way.

Weight: 18lbs. 6oz.
Height: 261/2 inches
She is in the 75% for both group

There is just something about chubby girls around our place! The difference is it looks really adorable on Addi, and not so much on me! Bridger was 16lbs 3oz. at his 6month check up! Bridger got his flu vaccination as well, but not a shot! They have this new thing that if they are over 2, and were vaccinated last year for the flu then there is a liquid that you put up there nose! He did really well with it. I thought it was wonderful not to have to fight him with needles!

sorry about 5 new post at a time... I just dowloaded my pictures, and had some time to post!

Cute little Addi

How adorable huh! I couldn’t resist posting this picture- I just think that it is so cute! She is 6month old now, and will sit on he own for a little bit, but always seems to fall. She rolls all over the place and loves her toys. I can distract a fit by showing her something new. You can just see the wheels turning in that cute little head of hers. She loves her brother and is interacting with him more. He can always make her smile, or cry…they get along pretty well.

I have to tell you when we were in the temple she just keep throwing her head back and staring at the ceiling and laughing. It gave me chills every time she would do it. It was an incredible feeling if you think of the angels that were there with us! I got all chocked up for a minuet. It was an amazing experience to be there with loved ones.

Helping Daddy

Bridge loves to be with his daddy! They are like two peas in a pod. I love watching the both of them interact. When dad is home he is his little shadow. Jason was actually outside washing his truck (if any of you know Jas you won’t be surprised) on this blistery winter day! Bridge was so upset that I wouldn’t let him go outside in a t-shirt and his underwear! So we got him all bundled up and he stayed outside for a couple of hours. I think we would stay outside all day if I let him.

This is "Lellow"

This is “Lellow!” Bridger’s 1st pet. We got him at Walmart a couple months ago, and he loves him. On the way home from the store I asked him what we should name the fish and he said “Lellow.” I tried to tell him that he was a red fish, and maybe we should name him red, but being the persistent little 2 year old that he his said “No lellow!” A couple days ago I was feeding Addi, and he was looking at Lellow and talking to him like he does, and he goes “Hungy mom” I tried to tell him that as soon as Addi was done eating we would get him some breakfast too. Of course that didn’t satisfy, so I set Addi on the ground and coaxed her to hold her on bottle for a few minuets. I went into the kitchen and told Bridger to follow so I could get him whatever it was he wanted. He started throwing a fit. I thought you were hungry, “NO Lellow!” It amazes me the way there little minds work. I don’t give him enough credit! Lellow was hungry. So from that day on we have to feed Lellow on a regular basis! He pinches the smallest amount of fish food in between those chubby little fingers and drops it in the water. He stands there until he eats all of his food! I have to say it is adorable. Who know how long the little fish will last, but for know he is a great friend!

NOT what big brothers are for!

I was making dinner the other day, when Addi just started screaming! I turned around and Bridger look very suspicious and Addi was doing something weird with her hand, I immediately knew what had happened, and before I even looked I asked Bridger if he bite Addi, and without hesitation, but with remorse he said “ya!” Immediately he went to time out! Surprisingly I didn’t send him there yelling- I picked up poor Addi and was in shock at how hard he had bite her. This picture was taking probably 2 minuets after it happened! Her poor finger had a huge dent on the one side(the one you see) then 3 deep teeth marks on the other. I felt horrible for her. She just cried and huge crocodile tears keep pouring down her face, and I can say the same for Bridge, because he stayed in time out until Addi quit crying. I thought that only fair. So for nearly 10 minuets of the evening all you heard was sad little cries in the Park house!!!

Clean Up!

The other day I was cleaning and organizing my bedroom. Going thru my closet and donating a lot of clothing to DI. I had clothes from High School (10 years ago) in my closet!!! Hopeful hording I think… wishing for a day that I might fit into them again. YA RIGHT! I had come to the conclusion that I am never wearing them again, and if I do end up loosing some weight I think I will have earned a new wardrobe! Anyway Bridger found these handkerchiefs and he had to have on one! He is always looking out for his little sister “He’s got her back” as Jason would put it. “Addi” had to have one too. They are Harley kids in the making... maybe Grandma and Grandpa wan't some more biking companions!

A little catch up

So a little catch up... We had the incredible opportunity to attend the Rexburg Temple open house. It is incredible all need to take advantage of this. It was a great opportunity to be close to family and share of an experience I hope to do again.

Bridger is doing better on the toilet. He will pee all day, and I don't even need to worry about him- even at nap time. I am so proud of him.

Hopefully I will have time to write more latter today. I need to cut some vinyl for my 1 client :) Love Ya

Missing family...

December 22, 2006
Today has been a day or memories. It was one year ago today when Grandma Park passed away. I think of all that has happened this past year, monumental moments that would have made her so happy. Christmas was bitter-sweet this year because of traditions that were changed. Every year we would go to Grandmas house and have our Christmas celebration. We would always eat, Jason would have to have her HAM, with her famous ham gravy. Rolls were always a must, and if grandma made them they would be just a little dark (or at least the last couple years they were!!!). Every year Grandma would put Lottery Tickets on the Christmas tree, and when all other gift were exchanged, we would see who won the most money. This was one tradition that Jason and I tried to carry on this year! Grandma we sure miss you! She had so much to offer to the world, and I only hope I can keep her examples alive… and teach my chilren who Great Grandma Park was all about.

Trying to step out...

This I write mainly for me…
My life completely revolves around my husband and my kids… this I would not trade for anything in the world, but where do I stand. I am trying to step out of my daily pattern and find a little time for myself… a little soul searching to find out who I am today. I could tell you who I was in college, and maybe even when I first got married, but who am I now. Let me tell you what I know: I am a mother of the most amazing kids in the world (in my opinion), I am on most days a very good wife, I am very happy with the comfortable, and I am scared to death of change. I get nervous to be me on many occasions for fear people will reject me, but I can be a very fearless leader. I love my life, but want to improve many things. I am a Child of God, an know that he loves me. I lean on my husband everyday for reassurance, and kindness. He is my “ROCK.” I can keep a secret which makes me a fantastic friend. I love my family and the few friends that I can count on. I have an ever growing testimony of the gospel. I write this mainly for me, I just needed to write down some of who I am, and what I have to offer. Thanks for listening…

What a morning!

READ WITH CAUTION!!!
Okay, so I had come downstairs with Addi before Bridge had woke up, and was creating the previous 2 post on my blog, and Bridge woke up and came downstairs. Bridge and I made a New Year’s Resolution to Potty Train him at the 1st of the Year! So Yesterday we worked on it all day. I was constantly encouraging him to tell me “potty” or “pee.” So this morning when he came downstairs he said “pee mommy.” So I hurried into the bathroom took off his footie(sp) PJ’s and proceeded to put him on the toilet. He didn’t pee, so I am guessing that he had just gone in him diaper and it reminded him… which is a step I guess. I didn’t put a diaper back on him because I had maybe 2min. Left downstairs, so I just told him that he didn’t have a diaper on, and if he had to go to the bathroom that he would have to let me know! So I came back and was trying to finish my post before the morning started, and I looked at Bridger and I could tell that he had just pooped! OH NO!!! Here we go, the joys of potty training (unless your Jes, Kayden was so easy to potty train) I looked at him and asked if he had pooped, and he said No… We went upstairs and I asked Bridger did you poop, and he stuck out his foot and said “here!” The poop had proceeded to fall down his leg and settle on his foot. I had to laugh because he wanted to tell me where it was! He is scared to poop on the toilet I think, he will pee all the time, but poop NO WAY - any suggestions!
Have you ever wanted to do this? Well I sure did yesterday! It was just one of those days when you clean one room 300 times, and when Jason got home it looked like I had done nothing all day. Addi was a little pill all day. It seems that the milestones she reaches she becomes worse. When I went from 4 to 6oz. She went from sleeping from 9-4 to waking up every 3 hours. Now when I give her baby food, she sleeps even worse, She won’t lay down for anything. I let her cry for 45min to see if she would cry herself to sleep, you might think that would work… NO all it did was make her more persistent NOT TO SLEEP! Then lately she hasn’t wanted her Soothie pacifier, she prefers to go back and forth between that one and the Nuk! AHH… what is a mother to do then lay down one the floor kicking and screaming till you fill better…! Good Luck huh!
BRIDGER IS FEARLESS… we had so much fun! The kids loved sledding down the stairs, and Jes and I loved laughing with them. Who needs snow to go sledding! This is one of the 1st times he went, so it was from ½ way, but in the end he was at the top laughing all the way! They couldn't get enough of it. What a great way to start the year! I hope we can laugh and have creative fun all year long!
