Halloween/Thanksgiving Craft

The leaves are starting to change, and the air has an exciting chill to it. I LOVE fall. It is my favorite season of all. I am however not excited for the snow to fall just yet!

In anticipation for the upcoming holidays, I decided to do a little craft.

This is a multi-holiday craft. One side is for Halloween, and the other side of the block is for Thanksgiving.

This is 9x6x2 inches in size.  There are 3 different options, and ways for you to order yours.

#1-A completed finished project…. $12.00 (reg. $14)

#2- A unfinished project for you to complete… $9.00 (reg. $11) (includes block, and 2 8x5 inch vinyl designs)

#3- Vinyl only… $6.00 (reg. $10)

There are so many things you could do with this. You could modge podge paper on the block and have a fun design that is unique to your style. You could tie pieces of ribbon or fabric around the 2 inch edge of the block to add a completely different style to your block. The options are endless.

1-How many blocks you are interested in ordering (there will be a discount for any order of 10 or more-if your thinking Girls night out, Relief Society, or any other organization)

2-If you want a completed project, unfinished, or vinyl only.

3-What color option you want for your block. I will do any color your interested in. If you want a color other then Black, Cream, Red or Brown there will be an additional $5.00 charge to cover some of the purchase price of the paint.

4-What color you want for your vinyl.

Priority Shipping is $6.50 (for 1 block. Additional shipping is required for multiple blocks).

What a week

What a week this little guy has had…

• He decided that it was time to really start crawling, and stop the army shoot (well, actually he still does it from time to time but likes to crawl).
• He started waving…mainly when I am telling him “NO NO” then he waves as to melt my heart and let him get away with what he is doing.
• He cut his first tooth!!! The bottom left one.
• He is clapping. It is adorable. Whenever I say “yeah” he gets excited and claps. I love it.
• Also…(I am sure this won’t repeat itself for a little while) BUT he stood up by himself alone. I was on the floor and he was standing next to me holding on to me, and I gave him something to hold and he stood there for probably 2 seconds ALL BY HIMSELF!!!
• He started the whole “Crawl to mom and stand at her legs thing” This I wasn’t too excited about. I find it completely annoying!!!

He is sure growing up. I love him so much.  He is such a fun little boy. He always has a smile for me, and it brightens my day! I am his favorite person in this world right now. I am trying to take it all in, but some days it would be nice to have a little break, BUT I love that he loves me so much! What a week of milestones!

My little hunters…

One morning while I was trying to get some last minuet preschool preparations done before my kids came at 9:30, I got a good laugh to start a good day…

Bridge and Addi came out of their bedroom chanting “we are hunters…” It was so cute. They were all dressed up with anything & everything they would need for “the hunt”

You forget how many times your little ones fall on hit there heads when they are learning to stand up to everything!!! Poor Coop is always falling over something…BUT this time, it wasn’t because he fell that he hurts! It was Bridger…he was riding his “snow machine” aka Wiggle Car, and turned just as Coop crawled over to him, and hit him hard right above the eye! It was instantly swollen. Poor little guy!

Bridger’s big heart was broken that he hurt Coop, so it was a bribery ride to make things all better! As you can see Coop instantly forgot about his sore eye, and was having a blast!!!

This is Coopers new favorite thing to do…empty this Tupperware cupboard! He absolutely loves it. All of the kids have.

After I had snapped the first picture he saw me, and gave me a little wave…Hi Mom! I just know that is what he was doing. So cute.  As a side note, he is so skinny and tiny, that I can’t keep pants on him during the day. He crawls/army scoots right out of them.

Mr. Independent…

Cooper loves to eat…hates baby food, but loves to eat “real” food. He is so funny when I am feeding him, he will grunt/moan when he is ready for another bite. I laugh every time, I don’t think that will ever get old.

Well, I was still trying to get the other kids their dinner while feeding Coop funeral potatoes. So I was getting grunted at, and moaned at. After 30 seconds had passed without a bite… he flat out screamed at me. So, I handed him his bowl…

 

SUCH A MESS…but boy did he LOVE IT!!! Funeral Potatoes are a must have on Coops menu, and a bath was in his near future! I just love watching them grow & change. So exciting and fun…even if it is a BIG MESS!!!

LITTLE MISS AVA WAS YOURS?

After preschool on Thursday, I made Jes stay for a minuet so I could snuggle this darling little girl. I even got to feed her. She is a good little eater.

Every time I see her I get emotional…I am not like that! I just think she is so special. I had to grab the camera and take a few pictures. Isn’t she just beautiful! I just seriously think she is such a doll. I LOVE those dark curls, and her big dark eyes. Aughhhh she is just precious.

Brandi’s Preschool

This year, after some long talks with Jas-We decided that instead of enrolling Bridger into a Preschool, I would take the money and put it towards a curriculum, and do my own preschool. I am excited for the adventure that I am taking. Who knows where it will take me…we will see!!!

So I started on Thursday. I have 3 little ones to teach. Bridger, Addisyn and Jessica’s Deegan. So much fun…

I have no “real” experience teaching a preschool yet. BUT…I have kids that I want to grow & learn. So I think this will be a great experience for all of us.

If anyone wants there little munchkin to be in my little preschool, I only want to take on a few more kids, just this year so I can get the hang of it. I am only wanting a monthly fee of $25 to cover the cost of the art supplies, snacks and such-since I am new to this.  We are doing it T/TH from 9:30-12:00. Please email me at parkfamily@live.com.

Addi got Bridge one of those carpet race tracks, and Coop got him some race cars. He was pretty excited to open both of them. Jas & I got him a razor, The Sandlot movie, and a few Preschool Prep movies.

He had a great birthday…like always was VERY VERY SPOILED!!!

SO…this year, it has just been busy and due to certain circumstances we just didn’t get to have big parties. BUT…they have had great days, and felt very special the entire day! I guess that is all that really matters…

I made Bridger’s cake last night, and so he could wake up to it. I also have a happy birthday banner ready for him! He was bummed though that I didn’t have the balloons that I had on Addis banner…I totally forgot to get some. Sorry Boog.

I cheated a little on the creativity of his cake by using this an adorable Pirate toy set…but gosh, it turned out cute! It might be what I do every year!!!  He was supper excited, and thought it was just perfect!

After we all got ready, the kids played and played for a little while. I got a few things done, and ready for the day. Bridger was feeling a little bugged that he didn’t get to have pizza at the park with Jes and the boys. A lack of planning on my part made that so it didn’t happen today, BUT…I did accomplish to make him happy! He decided that “chicken, fries, & fry sauce” was what he wanted. So a quick trip to Trappers was in store for us for lunch. I was trying to convince Bridge that it would be fun to just order it to go…he said to me “How bout we do it all mine way cause its all my birthday…” that being said we ATE IN THE RESTARAUNT!!!!  After a delicious lunch it was off to the Library! I know that some of you are thinking…WOW she really knows how to party, BUT THEY LOVE IT!!! We spent 2 hours there. They played on the little computers and just laughed and giggles and learned and have a WONDERFUL time. I said “Shhhh, you have to whisper” at least 100 times. They just love it!

Then it was diner time…

It is nice to have some family that is closer then the rest of them. So we had Gary & Lori & Mak come over. I thought it would be fun to let the kids make their own personal pizzas. It was fun to watch them, and I think they had a great time creating their own pizza-Just they way they wanted it…and they didn’t taste to bad either.

It was pretty fun. I just used Rhodes Rolls, and let them rise like I would for rolls, and then flattened them out. It worked pretty slick. Wasn’t the perfect pizza, but it was fun for the night.

Bridger & Grandpa Gary are pretty good buddies… He is lucky to have 2 wonderful Grandpas in his life, that are such good examples, and great role models!!

Poor Grandma Lori banged up her knee pretty bad camping this last weekend. She is in a brace for 2 weeks, and if it doesn’t feel better by then she has to have an MRI to see if she did any tendon or ligament damage. I feel bad for her!!!

 

We sang Happy Birthday to him, and before we knew it he had blown out his candles. I asked him if he made a wish and he said “DIG IN.”

After a few minuets Mak and the kids got into a frosting “fight.” She was such a great sport about it, and they all got a pretty good laugh!!!

Happy Birthday Buddy. You are such a great little boy when you aren’t testing me  in every way you know how!!! You really do bring me so much joy. I love you so much, and can’t hardly believe that you are 5!!!

I have the best little family ever. I love them all so much. How blessed am I.

“I go to you house”

On August 18, this little spunky sweetheart asked me “I go to you house…” after some much thinking on Chants part she decided to let them come. So Thursday through Saturday, Logan & Boston spent with us. It was so much fun to have them. They are great kids, with lots of energy and excitement. THEY WERE A BLAST!!!

First thing Friday morning they wanted to jump on the trampoline!!! So they got dressed strait into their swimsuits. After a little breakfast it was time for NON STOP FUN!!! I seriously don’t think they stopped for 2 days.

They were all so pooped, that bed time was a breeze. They all sleep all night, and didn’t make a peed. Both nights…

These two are so much fun, they had a blast playing with each other. What cute little girls they are!!!

It is so nice that these 4 are FINALLY getting along. For the longest time it was HELL to have them together. It was one huge fight. THANKFULLY they love being around each other now, and can’t get enough of the fun! THANKS Chant & Stacey for letting them come over. Here is to many more slumber parties at Aunt Brannies!!!
