Believe it or not on January 17, 2010 Bridger and Addisyn had there first Root beer Floats! When I realized that my 4 year old had never had one, I was a little shocked and made it a priority to grab the 2 whole ingredients. I just don’t buy pop very often, so we never have it on hand to have one! They were a BIG hit though…not a surprise right! MMMMM

Elk Refuge
On January 17, 2010 we were staying at Gary and Lori’s while they were in Oregon. We decided that we would go for a little ride over to the Elk Refuge. We didn’t go on the actual sleigh rides, but this was just as fun for the kids. The sheep were all over the place and right on the side of the road. Bridger and Addi were in awe at how neat they were. It was fun to see their excitement over something so simple!
11 weeks old…
Sometimes when you take a picture it just doesn’t look how you “see” it…Well, this picture looks like how I see Cooper. He is just so cute. He really does have petite features and isn’t all chubby like some of the pictures show him. I love this one! Look at those dark blue eyes. They remind me of Bridger's when he was younger. Now his are more like a grey color.
I just love that little mohawk!!! If I don’t comb his hair it stand any way it wants to…usually strait up in the air!
If that doesn’t make you smile today, then nothing will! At least I think its completely contagious.
Imagination has no limits for a 4 year old…
I was in one of my moods a few days ago…I was just done with the day, done with fighting, done with yelling (me), and done with kids…I needed a break!!! Bridger comes up to me and says “Can you tie this” holding both ends of this shoelace… He probably said it 4 times before I responded (I was giving myself a break from listening to kids…laughing), and of course my response was WHAT…in an irritated voice. He asks again…I asked what he was doing…" “I’m a horse…” I instantly smiled, and laughed at him. He needed a halter!
After he trotted off I was humbled, because the very reason I was upset is the reason I was happy again. That happens far to often for me!
“Little Sucker”
Cooper is suck a little sucker…literally!!! Sometimes it takes some convincing to get him to take his pacifier, but he always likes his fist. This is a new thing over the last week or so. If he doesn’t have his pacifier in his mouth he has his fist! I know that it is a hard habit to break if he does stick to it, but it is so adorable to watch him try and shove his whole fist in his mouth.
Imagination has no limits when your 2
At first Addi was playing the Elephant game where you catch the butterflies in the net…then pretty soon she had the net on her head and said it was her hat…then out of the Trio she made her “telescope”!!! It makes me smile. She had that hat on for a few hours (I think she forgot about it). She makes me laugh lately. The things that she comes up with to say. She is just one in a million!
Bumbo…
Chant and Stacey got Cooper this Bumbo for Christmas. I decided this week that he might be able to sit in it. Sure enough…now the question is Does he like it? One minuet he is smiling and gives me the occasional giggle, and then he is down right ticked off!!! I think these pictures are so cute though. It is crazy how fast they can go from happy to mad.

A BIG DEBUT…
Bridger made his first big debut in Island Park on February 13, 2010. I just can’t believe it! My 4…yes I said 4 year old competed in his first 120 snow cross race yesterday!
Before the race…
Bridger was anticipating what was going to happen. We were all pretty nervous for him. It was just absolutely adorable. We are very proud of him that he keep his head about him the whole time. Jason and Bridger were so excited that he was assigned #1 for his race number.
Gary getting a snack. (I just had to put it on here-Jas said to). Addi was occupying the time playing catch with Heidi. She would walk up to her hands and say catch…then drop the snowball into Heidi’s hand. She also was making snow angels. She is so cute!
We got to the race about an hour early, and so Jason had time to explain things to Bridge. This was them taking a look at the track…It was so cute. Everything Jason would point to, Bridger would point to. He was listening so intently.
A Proud Dad, an Excited Racer and Grandpa Gary
Bridge, Mom and Cooper all bundled up
The Race…
Jason spent 4 days teaching Bridge a few things…
- Watch the guy with green flag.
- Don’t look back at dad
- Look ahead
- When the guy starts to drop the flag you pin it!!!
- Stop when they raise the checkered flag.
When I asked Bridger what he had to do, he said “You just don’t look at the other people. Watch where your going, and watch the guy with the green flag. You smoke em’ and go fast. Then you get a trophy.”
At the starting line ready… Go, Go, Go, Bridger!!!
Doing real well…we just couldn’t believe it! (Actually we really could, but it was wonderful to see him doing it!)
Trying as hard as he could to catch up. He was giving it everything his little sled has. He was standing up one of the two laps. I was so proud of him. He has racing in his blood.
Coming into the finish line! 4th place. WOW!!! We really though he did such a great job. There were a few sleds that were just geared faster then Bridger’s. Looks like we will be spending more money on some different gearing. Grandpa Kenny says that will make it run even faster.
Cheering him on…Aunt Heidi, Grandma Lori, and Grandpa Gary. Dusty and Wyatt even came to watch!
It is just wonderful that they give the little guys these trophies. He was SO PROUD of it. When they were giving it to him, they asked him if he did his very best today. Bridge said YES of course, and that is why he got the trophy. Then they gave them medallions for being them. It was so cute and much appreciated by me and Jason. Addi was pretty proud of her brother. When we went to congratulate him at the truck after the race Addi said to me “Where my Bridge, he my Best Friend.”
I think we may have created a “monster.” He is so excited about all of it. He was upset that when we got home he couldn’t ride his sled. He wanted to hold the trophy the entire ride home…he is just excited beyond words and LOVED every minuet of it.
We are so proud of him for being such a big boy! Love you so much Bridger…Your the best little boy Dad and I could ask for. You keep it up buddy and you will go places. Have passion for the things that you do, and you will always succeed.

Happy Birthday
Happy Birthday Little Rabecca Mae. I never got the chance of being in your presence, but you have influenced my life in a great way. Thanks for teaching me to love everyday and not take things for granted. Thanks for teaching me to have Faith in our Heavenly Father. I’m still working on not asking why and just trusting that “things happen for a reason.” Thanks for helping me believe in miracles. You have softened my heart and made me appreciate how precious life is. You are an amazing little angel that I am yet to meet. I love you sweetheart!

Bath time…
For the first month of Coopers life he hated to get washed! It wasn’t fun for him and he cried the entire time…then on the 4th of January 2010 he decided that it wasn’t that bad. He loved to have his head washed and would roll his eyes back as relaxed as he could be!

Coopers First Shower…
Cooper had his FIRST SHOWER with Jason on January 12th, 2010. He LOVED it. Both of my boys absolutely loved to shower. Addisyn on the other hand cried the whole time. She hated it. I have other pictures, but Jason told me this is the only one I could put on the blog for the whole world to see… Funny huh!!!
So cute…
They change so much in the first few months. I love that he is getting a chubbier face-I just think those cheeks are so cute. Last night when Jas came home from work he said…”Let me kiss those chubby cheeks.” They are just so adorable I want to pinch and kiss them! I think he is just so handsome. He just make me happy!

When he is laying on his back he looks incredible chubby! It is an illusion though. He is getting chubby cheeks, but he is far from being a little fatty! It is so funny how babies have virtually no neck.
Mommy Love you Coop!
