Easter 2013
Later that afternoon Brian treated Holly and I to a set of nails. So sweet, and so nice to spend some quality time with Holly! THANKS BRAIN!!!!! Then we we got back to the house and he was cooking Filet Mignon… so YUMM!!!!! He has turned into quit the Betty Crocker.
Jason and Bridger and Taylor left there to go riding with Blake and Corbin for a little while, and the rest of us went shopping and looking at campers. Then Holly had to go to work, so we just hung out at the house for a little while entertaining ourselves and the kids!

Lunch date
Today Chant and i went to Gator Jacks for lunch today. Even if it was only a hour or a little more it was nice to chit chat for a bit. Haven't hardly seen her since we moved. Should be the opposite but life just gets busy even when you aren't doing anything but kids!!!!!

120 Racing Season 2013
Someday Bridger is going to look back on this blog, and wonder why the heck his mom never posted anything about racing… I just want him to know it is only because I haven’t posted anything at all lately!
Sorry Buddy…. but here is one long post dedicated to you and your determination to succeed on those little 120’s in 2013!!!
{Pictures are going to be all messed up, but black ski’s are stock, and yellow ski’s are champ for the most part}
Let the racing begin…
This was the first race of the year. Bridger competed in the Speed limited 120 class, and the 120 Champ class. The champ class is new for him this year. Jason “caught the bug” and has been trying to feed it every since. I on the other hand have been trying very hard to extinguish it. Not that I don’t love watching Bridger race… I do with all of my heart, but I am a bit more reasonable then he is when it comes to kids play toys. But man, the adrenaline that runs through your body when they call out “Bridger Park #21x” …… or when they get the checkered flag and cross that finish line… I will admit It is very addicting and satisfying to see them succeed at something they really have a passion for!!! Guess that is why I was at every race hootin’ and a hollerin’ from the side lines. Actually, if truth be told, I was in the middle of the track just in case {and I was glad I was on a few different occasions}!!!
January 12-13, 2013: It was seriously FREEZING this weekend…we tried to make the best of it, but no matter how hard we tried there were still a few tears shed. Only the boys though, my Addi never complained!

January 26-27, 2013: It wasn’t negative 20 this weekend, but we did have rain.
Teegan came and raced this weekend for the 1st time. He did such a great job. That bug I was talking about earlier, well, Bryce caught it to. Shortly after this race he bough a stock and a champ sled… SO SORRY Brittany!!!
Great to have some supporters! Grandpa didn’t miss a single race! THANKS SO MUCH for you constant support.

The finals race in his Stock Class was AWESOME! He tipped over, and couldn’t get his sled started. This was one of those mad dashes to help him I was talking about earlier. But he was about a lap behind everyone, and passed 6-7 racers and ended up in 3rd. It was a great race.
Also, Jason was talking to Paul Woodie, and he had some left over trophies from last year, so Teegan, Colter and Mr. Cooper lined up and raced. It was the cutest dang thing ever!!!
He is so proud of this trophy! Next year he will be 4, and old enough to race!!!
March 15-17, 2013
I was excited for West Yellowstone this year. It was the finals, and Bridger, Teegan and Miss Taylor would all be racing! How exciting!!!
We headed up there on Thursday afternoon so we get a good trailer spot. Laughing! Friday was the MWR finals, and Saturday and Sunday was the West Yellowstone Expo.
This is CRAZY!!! 2 sleds for Teegan and Bridger, and 1 sled for Miss Taylor!!! Crazy!!! Honestly I just think this is insane.
I decided since we would be sharing the hotel with Brian and Holly that for an extra $50 we could rent a 2 bedroom 2 bath time share condo with a kitchen. Definitely the way to go if you are sharing. It was SO NICE!!! Worth every penny more.
Friday March 15, 2013:
Bridger was excited and ready to race! We really lucked out. The weather was just beautiful. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend to hold the finals. Although it was very wet, and muddy, it wasn’t cold or windy (until Sunday).
NONE of this could happen without the dedication and hard work of this man. I joke about how it is an obsession {and I always will think that} but he has spend more hours tinkering in the garage, and learning about the Champ sleds, and doing EVERYTHING he can to make it go a little faster then the last race… then anyone {with maybe the exception of Blake whom I think just fuels the flame}.
As for me… well, I have just had to be VERY PATIENT!!!! And for those of you who know me well, sometimes this isn’t my best attribute. I love watching Bridge race. It is always an adrenaline rush!!! Love you Bud, and am so very proud of you!!!
It was great to have the Luthy’s with us this year. Teeg was very excited to race. It is actually the most focused I have ever seen him at anything. He has done such a fantastic job this year, and has raced with heart and aggression! Definitely something to be proud of!
A HUGE THANK YOU to Mr. Blake Cottle for EVERYTHING {and that is a whole lot} that he has done to encourage and help both Bridger and Jason this year. Thanks Blake!!!
My Dad was able to make it up on Friday and Saturday. I was so happy to see him there. It was great to visit with him. He was a world Champion winner, and I LOVED listening to his stories. THANKS dad for all the time that you spend teaching and working on the sleds with Jason! It has definitely been a joint effort.
Taking the hole shot…
Teegan raced a FANTASTIC 1st race. So proud at him.
Both these boys took 1st in the 1st race of the day! There were so many racers that they ended up being going at different times. It was nice to see them both come out on top!!!
Speed Limited 120 class: 120 Champ Class:
1st Qualifier: 1st Place 1st Qualifier: 2nd Place
2nd Qualifier: 2st Place 2nd Qualifier: 3rd Place
FINALS: 2nd Place FINALS: 7rd Place {His champ sled blew a rocker at the starting line, so he rode his stock sled in the champ class and still came in 7th out of 10 riders. Now that was impressive, and some good watching.}
Overall for the Mountain West Racing for the year of 2013 Bridger took 1st in the 120 Speed Limited, and 2nd in the Champ Class.
Saturday March 16, 2013
Bright and early we were back at the track. The kids all had a great night sleep and were ready to go at it again.
This was one of my favorite races to watch…
Teegan took the hole shot, found a solid line, and stayed with it the whole race!!! It was so good good watching. Both boys raced hard and aggressive, but Bridger just couldn’t get around him. It was so much fun to watch. Sorry that he got beat, but so happy that it was his cousin that took this race!!! Couldn’t have been more happy for both of them. Teeg was completely elated. Bridger said it was “That was a fun race, because I was chasing someone.”
THANKS Mom for coming and watching Bridger Race! I am sorry I was in the middle of the track most of the time! But I am so thankful you came to support Bridger. It means the world to me!!!
Then there was Miss Taylor… My heck it was adorable to watch her race. She was so excited, yet completely beside herself with nerves for that first race!
I don’t think we could have been any more proud of Tay Bugs. She raced her little heart out. If only the sled had a little more go to it! But, gosh did she make us all proud!!!
ALL YOU LITTLE RACERS- WAY TO GIVE IT YOUR ALL!!!!!
On Sunday after the Finals it was time for the award ceremony… look at all those 120 racers!!!
For Stock class:
For Champ class:
{Bridger, Brody Hasenack, and Corbin Cottle}
Bridger I just want you to know how incredibly proud I am of you. I know you are passionate about this racing, and you really do put your heart and soul into it. I am grateful for you dedication, determination and drive. You have made me very proud on more then one occasion, weather it be loosing with style, or winning with gratitude for your accomplishment. Thank you for being such a great kid. WONDERFUL JOB this season Boog. I love you with my whole heart and then some!!!
